Music From My Daughters Concert
This was from a few months ago. My daughter was in The Western Slope Honor Band. She was one of three kids chosen from her school to be in this concert. She plays baritone. This is just the middle school kids playing.
I just thought they sounded so awesome. And for middle school kids to boot!

I can't get it to play, i did the download they asked,but still frustrated. I will have my daughter figure it out for me, she is into all this download stuff

They really sound great! Especially for middle school students.
I hope your daughter sticks with it. I quit playing at her age and I still regret it because it would be an amazing hobby to have and it'd be easier to learn new instruments if I had stuck with it. I wanted to be "cool" and not "play at football games"

Apparently it is my computer, my daughter transferred it down to my wife's apple, and it played fine. VERY impressive. From the applause the audience seemed to appreciate as well.
This is so awesome. Musical programs in schools are SO important. I'm tickled beyond belief that all the negative connotation that "band geeks" get doesn't seem to sway kids from being in the band. It's a great thing for them to do, and that is one outstanding sounding middle school band!

That's awesome that your district still has the funds to put together a program like that. The arts are SO important, yet sadly are usually the first things schools cut out.
